Sam Roddick is the founder of Coco de Mer a British ‘erotic emporium’ dedicated to the celebration of sexual pleasure, empowerment, dignity and discovery. Sam is regarded as having spearheaded the transformation of the sexual retail environment and has a background in radical activism, having worked on campaigns on pornography, feminism, exploitation, human rights. She founded Bondage for Freedom in 2008, providing a free creative service for organisations fighting for human and environmental rights. It works on a number of projects with partner organisations creating campaigns, films, art and protests to raise awareness for a number of issues including rape and sexual violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo, sex slavery and trafficking, teenage sexual pressure and abuse and the plight of the honey bee.
