Brian Eno

Brian Eno is a musician, composer, singer and record producer. He is widely credited as being a forerunner in the ‘Ambient Music’ movement in the 1970s, and has been part of numerous innovative projects during his career, including The Microsoft Sound, the six-second start-up music for the Windows 95 operating system. A sometime columnist for The Observer, Eno is politically active, particularly with regard to nuclear weaponry, an issue which no individual in this world can ignore.
