Amy Sinclair lives in Bristol, is a mother of two young girls. With a growing concern about the ecological and social issues people face globally and the lack of political engagement in our climate change crises, Amy became involved in Extinction Rebellion in 2018. She participated in their first large non-violent civil disobedience climate change action in November last year, which saw the takeover of five bridges in Central London. In April this year, Amy travelled back to London with thousands of other protesters, for another peaceful shutdown of five of the city’s commercial and political sites to draw attention to the disaster we face and disrupt the business-as-usual approach the government are taking.
