Ben Macintyre is a historian and documentary presenter. His hugely successful books include Operation Mincemeat, Agent Zigzag, and Double Cross. His books have been made into BBC documentaries. Operation Mincemeat was a secret mission formulated and carried out by the British Army during the Second World War which used a dead body to hoodwink the Nazis. Double Cross tells the gripping true story of five of the double-agents who helped to make D-day such a success, whilst Agent Zigzag recounts the life of Eddie Chapman, one of Britain's most unlikely heroes.
