Johann Hari is a British journalist who has written for the New York Times, the LA Times, the Guardian, Le Monde, Slate, the New Republic and The Nation amongst others. He was a columnist on the Independent for nine years and was twice named Newspaper Journalist of the Year by Amnesty International UK. He has also been named Cultural Commentator of the Year by the Editorial Intelligence awards and Gay Journalist of the Year by Stonewall. He spent three years researching and writing the book, Chasing the Scream: the first and last days of the War on Drugs, travelling to 9 countries and interviewing countless people whose lives have been transformed by the war on drugs. The Guardian called it a ‘powerful contribution to an urgent debate’ and The Times said it is ‘Thoughtful, thorough and questing, and full of fresh and genuine reportage about aspects of the drug economy.’

Charlotte Harris is a media lawyer at Mishcon de Reya. She has specialised in pre and post publication advice, injunctions, defamation, privacy, harassment and unlawful interceptions into the telephones and correspondence of those in the public eye. Charlotte's client base includes MPs, celebrities, PRs, sports agents, sportspeople and individuals who have found themselves at the centre of media scrutiny. Charlotte has been fundamental in the exposure of the phone hacking scandal and continues to act for many clients in relation to this issue. Recent notable cases include Max Clifford v NGN and Glenn Mulcaire, Donald v N'tuli (C of A) and Perroncel v NGN. Charlotte joined Mishcon in March 2011 from JMW where she was Head of Media. She was listed in the Lawyer's Hot 100 in January 2011.

Ruby and her friend Judith Owen wrote a show called, “Live from the Priory” which was performed at the actual Priory. It toured NHS institutions for the following two years and later became the hit show Losing It. She has since founded the website The Black Dog Tribe, which is a forum on which people with depression can meet: http://blackdogtribe.com.
