Folami Prehaye became the victim of revenge porn, when a former partner shared intimate and graphic images of her online as a way of seeking revenge and causing her to be humiliated. Folami said it felt as if she had been "cyber raped" after learning the images had been seen by family and friends. Her former partner was given a six month suspended sentence. She went on to speak out about the ordeal and how the experience had made her feel. She founded the website: VOIC.org.uk - a support network for Victims of Internet Crime. In early February the Government launched a new helpline for victims of revenge porn. The Sun newspaper has launched a campaign calling for revenge porn to be made a specific sexual offence with a punishment of up to three years imprisonment.
