Folami said it felt as if she had been "cyber raped" after learning the images had been seen by family and friends. Her former partner was given a six month suspended sentence. She went on to speak out about the ordeal and how the experience had made her feel. She founded the website: VOIC.org.uk - a support network for Victims of Internet Crime. In early February the Government launched a new helpline for victims of revenge porn.
